Social and Environmental Strategy
Banking on Tolima Gold's deep knowledge of the country and the region, a solid corporate social responsibility strategy has been designed.
As soon as Tolima Gold took control of the mining properties, it started an aggressive campaign in order to build a relationship with the community.
The approach is to meet and interact with the community as a whole entity visiting each village and making contact with:
- The principal of the community board (acción comunal)
- Local authorities
- Local government
- Police department and military forces
- Farmers associations (asociaciones campesinas)
- Families
